Allied Universal in Whitestown, IN is seeking a Security Officer Access Control Coordinator to protect clients across Logistics & Distribution and more. You will manage entry points, verify access, monitor activity, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and drivers.

The role is full-time with day shifts and a pay rate of $18.00 per hour. You will respond to incidents, conduct patrols, and support daily operations with calm problem-solving and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and driver logs, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Screen incoming and outgoing vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with site procedures; report discrepancies, unauthorized access attempts, and suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
