Qualifications

Customer service experience is preferred.
Guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background check required by law.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
Monitor access points for employees, visitors, and contractors; verify credentials and records.
Control vehicle and pedestrian access at gates, docks, and entry points; direct traffic and report unauthorized access.
Respond to incidents calmly and escalate to appropriate contacts and responders.
Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify security concerns.
