Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Control in Tustin, CA. You will safeguard clients across various industries, perform patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering outstanding customer service to tenants and visitors.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or flight operations personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the commercial property, including building areas, parking facilities, perimeter locations, and aviation-related access points.
• Monitor and report unusual activity, property damage, maintenance concerns, and/or unauthorized persons according to site procedures.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor and report unusual activity, property damage, maintenance concerns, and/or unauthorized persons according to site procedures.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
