Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Access Control in Riverside, CA. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors and operations.

The role emphasizes visible, professional communication and incident deterrence while delivering outstanding service at a busy logistics site. Prior security, customer service, or licensing experience is preferred, with 18+ years old (21+ for armed roles).

Qualifications

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying credentials, screening visitors, issuing visitor passes, and documenting arrivals and departures in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports related to access activity, incidents, deliveries, and other security-related observations.

What You'll Do:
