GardaWorld Surveillance Security Officer in Reno, NV is responsible for monitoring CCTV, controlling access, patrolling on foot, and reporting incidents to maintain safety. You will be identifying threats, enforcing procedures, and assisting visitors in a professional manner.

The role requires US work authorization, a high school diploma or GED, and PILB certification, with CPR/First Aid within 7 days of offer. GardaWorld provides benefits, uniforms, and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Observe area, survey, and report activity at the location.
• Provide rapid response in critical situations.
• Read and write detailed incident reports.

• Perform access control and lobby order, including ID checks.
• Escort VIPs and guests as needed.
• Use CCTV and other electronics to complete the mission.
• Frequently patrol entrances, exits, and emergency areas.

As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they elevate in environments such as a security operations center, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

• Set schedule: Day, Swing, and Grave Shifts are available. (Schedule details will be discussed during the interview process)

Responsibilities of Surveillance Security Guard

• Excellent customer service is always your top priority.
• You observe, survey the area, and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
• You provide rapid response in critical situations.
• You’re good with reading and writing detailed reports.
• You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.
• You provide critical access control and order in the lobby area by checking identification of employees, vendors, customers, and other visitors. Plus, keeping area clear of foot traffic and prevention of other hazards in the area.
• You may be asked to escort VIPs and other guests as needed.
• You will use CCTV and other electronics to accomplish your mission.
• You will be expected to patrol by foot on a regular basis to check on all entrances, exits, and emergency areas.

Qualifications of a Surveillance Security Guard

• You are authorized to work in the US.
• You have a high school education or equivalent (GED) in hand.
• You have a valid PILB in hand.
• You have or can obtain CPR/AED/FIRST AID Certification within 7 days of an offer.
• You have exceptional skills in computers, laptops, CCTV, radio communications, and other electronic tools.
• You are able to perform the necessary tasks of conducting foot patrols on a regular basis that cover the whole property.
• You have superior people skills.
• You have at least 1 year of Security experience in a controlled access environment.
• You have strong work ethic!
