• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Document incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain an orderly environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. Deliver professional customer service while supporting security-related procedures through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Thur 12:00 PM - 08:30 PM Sat 11:00 AM - 07:30 PM Sun 05:00 AM - 01:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, maintain entry records, and direct authorized personnel, delivery drivers, and contractors in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading docks, business areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
