Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience.
• Site may have portable toilets and rustic guard shacks on-site.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Age requirements: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per laws.
• Criminal histories considered in compliance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Wed: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying credentials, processing visitor and driver entries, and maintaining accurate access-related records.
• Observe inbound and outbound traffic at designated access points and report unauthorized activity, irregularities, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating with Allied Universal leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading docks, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
