Allied Universal in Charlestown, MA is seeking a part-time Security Officer TWIC Entry Screening to protect clients across automotive locations. You will manage access control, assist visitors, and deliver courteous service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

As a Security Officer TWIC Entry Screening in Charlestown, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer at an automotive location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records and communicate access-related concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, vehicle lots, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential, or TWIC.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
