Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers is seeking a Security Officer Level 1 to join the site security team. This client-facing role focuses on protecting personnel and property, managing access control, monitoring CCTV systems, and coordinating with the DCOPS to ensure secure operations.

You will document incidents, complete shift reports, and ensure adherence to security policies while collaborating with Shipping & Receiving and other departments to support data center operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with standard methods, practices, tools, and equipment for the security team.
• Strong observation and surveillance skills, with the ability to detect and respond to security threats effectively.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that all employees, clients, vendors, and visitors on company property have proper company-issued identification.
• Patrols assigned post on foot to maintain visibility and observes possible unusual activity.
• Monitors and maintains security technologies, including CCTV systems, and access control systems.
• Investigates, addresses, and reports security, maintenance, and safety conditions.
• Thoroughly investigates all security-related accidents/incidents, interviews witnesses, complaints, and victims.
