Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records.
• Screen personnel, vehicles, materials, and deliveries in accordance with established site procedures and access requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, operational areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.

As a Security Officer Access Authorization Driver in Mc Intosh, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Sat 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Sun 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:
