Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas
• Operate radio transmitting equipment
• Provide information to tenants’ employees, the public, and other users and visitors to the building
• Prevent loss, damage, or misuse of property
• Prevent trespassing and loitering; escort violators from the site
• Cite violators of vehicle parking policies
• Survey security and safety of the owner’s premises, contents, supplies and equipment
• Operate card access system
• Control removal of equipment from premises
• Assist in evacuation of personnel if necessary
• Respond to all routine and emergency procedures as indicated in the owner’s Fire/Life Safety Manual
• Report any unusual incidents or hazardous conditions
• Perform additional duties as agreed upon by the owner and contractor

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older
• High school diploma or equivalent; possession of a college degree is highly desirable

• High integrity and exemplary security skills and judgment
• Above‑average computer skills
