Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer in Los Angeles, CA. The role involves patrolling assigned areas, operating radio equipment, and guiding visitors while preventing loss and unauthorized access.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or over.
• High school diploma or equivalent; possession of a college degree is highly desirable.
• Speak, read, and write English.
• All assigned personnel should be of high integrity and possess exemplary security skills and judgment.
• Assigned personnel should possess above average computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas.
• Operate radio transmitting equipment.
• Provide information to tenants' employees, the public and other users and visitors or the building.
• Prevent loss, damage, or misuse of property.
• Prevent trespassing and loitering; escort violators from the site.
• Cite violators of vehicle parking policies.
• Survey security and safety of the Owner's premises, contents, supplies and equipment.
• Operate card access system.
• Control removal of equipment from premises.
• Assist in the evacuation of personnel if necessary.
• Respond to all routine and emergency procedures as indicated in the Owner's Fire/Life Safety Manual.
• Report any unusual incidents or hazardous conditions.
