Job summary

Trinity Tank Car, Inc. in Longview, TX is seeking a Security Officer (2nd Shift) to monitor premises, greet visitors, and support security operations. The role requires clear communication, documentation, and the ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise and outdoor exposure.

Shift is Monday–Friday, 4pm–12am. You will assist with incident investigations, theft prevention, and serve as liaison between visitors, customers and employees while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Security Officer.
• Ability to prepare and maintain accurate documentation.
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to interface with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular monitoring of the property.
• Serve as the first point of contact for visitors entering the building or property.
• Assist with investigating on-site incidents and preventing theft.
• Mitigate escalated situations calmly and effectively.
• Prepare documentation to support the security administration program.
