Job summary

Trinity Industries, Inc. Corporate Security Department is seeking a full-time Security Officer for the Ft. Worth, TX plant.

The role involves regular monitoring of the property, greeting visitors, and assisting with incident investigations to prevent theft and mitigate escalated situations. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of security experience. Proficiency with MS Word/Outlook and strong English communication are required.

Qualifications

• High school education (or equivalent) required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience working as a security officer.
• Ability to prepare and maintain accurate documentation.
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to interface effectively with individuals of all levels.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Prior knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business and/or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to work shift work required; days, swing, nights, weekends and holidays year-round.

Responsibilities

• Monitor property and serve as the first point of contact for visitors.
• Assist with investigating on-site incidents, preventing theft, and mitigating escalated situations.
• Act as a liaison between customers, visitors and employees; prepare documentation for security program.
