Desert Highlands Golf Club is seeking security officers for their 2nd shift (2 PM - 10 PM).

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, with a 5-day work week and 2 consecutive days off. Candidates should have a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills to join our Security Team.

The Security Officer will provide professional security and customer service to members and employees of the Desert Highlands Association in a professional manner.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Enforce all safety and security rules and regulations.
  • Maintain and report on security equipment and vehicle conditions.
  • Monitor access at gates; verify approvals for visitors/vendors.
  • Manage access control data; update as necessary.
  • Patrol premises to enforce security, safety, and traffic regulations; escort unauthorized individuals off property; document incidents.
  • Keep accurate logs of access activities and communicate challenges to management.
  • Handle packages/mail for members and departments.
  • Monitor access control and CCTV systems; respond to alarms.
  • Respond to emergencies and fire alarms; administer CPR and first aid as needed.
  • Recover and relocate reptiles.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 21 years old, valid Driver's License, clean Motor Vehicle Record.
  • CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
  • Ability to handle emergencies calmly and effectively.
  • Reliable attendance and professionalism.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with management, staff, members, and guests.
