Job Description:

The Security Officer is responsible for the Security and Safety of all The Brook Employees, Guests, and Assets.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Handles, counts and verifies gaming chips in multiple denominations.
  • Ensures the integrity of gambling, count room, and cash handling procedures.
  • Conducts property inspections and escorts of company assets.
  • Prepares detailed incident reports.
  • Pushes and pulls heavy carts during machine drops.
  • Reports all violations of Gaming regulations, internal controls, and company policies and procedures.
  • Patrols the Casino and adjacent areas for suspicious and illegal activities.
  • Reports all gaming regulation violations to appropriate departments and agencies.
  • Ensures all guest and company vehicles are parked properly and in their designated locations.
  • Watches for and reports any potential safety hazards to the supervisor.
  • Quickly responds to and handles matters involving demanding guests or employees.
  • Quickly responds to and contacts local law enforcement, fire department, or other emergency personnel in matters involving medical emergencies.
  • All other duties as assigned.
