Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring a full-time Security Officer in Waukegan, IL. The role covers access control, patrols, and daily interactions with client personnel to maintain safety and security across sites.

The position requires 18+ years old, a valid driver’s license for certain sites, and a preference for CPR/First Aid; training and uniforms are provided. Compensation is listed per hour with standard benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record for some sites.
• High School Diploma, GED, or able to complete GED within 6 months.
• Standard computer/tech skills.
• Customer service background preferred.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification preferred (provided).
• Prior security, law enforcement or military experience is a plus.
• Able to interact with a wide range of individuals calmly and professionally.
• Great attention to detail and alertness on shift.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Perform patrols inside/outside the client's premises in varying conditions.
• Interact with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety hazards or suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
