Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Interacts with visitors, patients and staff in a professional, courteous manner.
  • Observes visitors and patients. Manages any unusual circumstances or difficulties.
  • Maintains visitor control inside and outside of the hospital.
  • Assists with Codes and Stats. Restraints patients when needed and monitors for future disturbances.
  • Maintains logs and reports.
  • Monitors cameras and alarms as needed. Follows emergency procedures for bomb threats, code 99 or helicopter pad landings.
  • M akes emergency deliveries or pick-up of medication, organs and blood.
  • Provides vehicle transportation for patients, visitors and employees as required.
  • Uses proper judgment and knowledge of established practices and procedures when addressing problems or issues.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Job description

Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the Hospital staff, patients and visitors as well as ensuring the physical security of all Hospital buildings and equipment.
