Job summary

UT Health East Texas in Tyler, TX is seeking a dedicated Security Officer for day shift, full-time. You will protect patients, visitors and staff, monitor access, and respond to safety concerns in a busy hospital environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, a Texas security license, a valid Texas driver’s license, and reliable auto liability coverage. Some college and Spanish language skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years' experience in Law Enforcement, an institutional security program, or honorable military service.
• Security officer license with the Texas Board of Private Investigators and Private Security Agencies or within 90 days of employment.
• Current Texas Driver's License.
• Current Auto Liability Insurance in accordance with Texas Law.
• Some college education (preferred).
• Secondary Spanish language (preferred).
