Job summary

Securitas Global Clients America is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time shift in Superior, Wisconsin. The position pays $18.75 per hour with a Wed-Sun 2300–0700 schedule.

You will monitor premises, enforce site rules, manage access, and patrol client locations to help keep people and property secure. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, strong customer service and teamwork, and the ability to work independently while staying calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Above-average computer/technology skills.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant during shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must respond to emergencies with rapid/effective judgment and escalation.
• Must be willing to undergo pre-employment screening including drug test and background check.
• Safe driving certification.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect
