Job summary

River City Casino & Hotel in Missouri is hiring Security Officers. The role offers $17.50 per hour with swing and grave shifts, comprehensive benefits starting day one, and opportunities for career growth within PENN Entertainment.

As a Security Officer, you will protect guests and staff, respond to incidents, write detailed reports, and ensure safety across the property. The job requires 21+ years old, weekend availability, and a valid gaming license.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Available to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
• CPR and AED will be provided.
• Must have valid driver's license and be able to operate company vehicles.
• Able to walk on level surfaces and stairs; stay calm in emergencies.
• Ability to write clear, accurate, and concise reports.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Assist sick or injured patrons and employees with first aid.
• Respond to medical requests as primary or secondary responder.
• Report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Assist guests with directions and procedures.
• Check IDs to verify guest age 21 or older.
• Process fills, credits, exchanges, and marker transfers.
• Prepare accident/incident reports and witness statements.
• Operate company vehicles safely.
• Monitor alarms and respond to alerts.
• Stay standing and actively move during shifts.
• Work requires helping guests and meeting their needs.

As a Security Officer, you will:

Pay: $17.50 per hour | Shift: Swing: 2:30PM- 11:00PM Grave: 10:30PM- 7:00AM

• Assist sick or injured patrons and employees by providing first aid.
• Must respond to all medical request as either the primary or the secondary responder.
• Report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Assist guests and employees on directions and proper procedures.
• Ability to check identification to ensure a guest is over the age of 21.
• Perform fills, credits, exchanges and marker transfers for departments as needed.
• Compose accident/incident reports and witness statements when necessary.
• Operate company vehicles in a safe manner.
• Monitor and respond to alarms.
• This position will require you to be standing and actively moving during the duration of your shift.
• In this role, you can expect to use your hands, walk, and be physically active throughout your shift.
• You will be required to help assist guests and their needs.
