Job summary

Caesars Entertainment Corp's Horseshoe Casino in Tunica is seeking a security professional responsible for protecting guests, employees and assets on the casino floor. The role requires vigilance, incident reporting, emergency response and strict adherence to gaming regulations.

You will work on-site in Mississippi, requiring 21+ years, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain an MS Gaming License; prior law enforcement experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous law enforcement experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Must be able to acquire MS Gaming License.
• Candidate must complete all required company training and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide protection for the casino and employees and guests, and protect company assets.
• Guard all transfers of monies and chips on the casino floor.
• Interact professionally with guests, employees and law enforcement agencies.
• Maintain a written log of incidents and prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain and inventory first aid equipment on assigned shift.
• Administer emergency medical treatment to injured guests and employees.
• Assess needs and arrange dispatch for ambulance or other rescue units.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and with company policies.
• Adhere to health, fire, and safety regulations and report hazards.
• Support Caesars courtesy guidelines.
• Promote outstanding guest relations.

Provides basic security functions for the property to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide protection for the casino and all employees and guests, and is responsible for the overall protection of company assets.
• Guard all transfers of monies and chips on the casino floor as well as the physical transportation of hopper fills, chip fills, and credits.
• Interact with guests, employees and law enforcement agencies in a professional manner.
• Maintain a written log of incidents involving guests or employee, and prepare additional detailed reports, as may be required.
• Maintain and inventories first aid equipment on assigned shift.
• Administers emergency medical treatment to injured guests and employees.
• Assesses the injured or sick individuals’ needs, and if necessary, arrange for the dispatching of rescue units. (Ambulance, helicopter, etc.).
• Ensure departmental compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and with departmental and company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for adherence to health, fire, and safety regulations, identifies potential safety hazards and reports such to the appropriate personnel.
• Support and maintain the Caesar's courtesy guidelines.
• Promote outstanding guest relations.
