Delivers the guest mail, messages, packages, etc. Picks up and delivers the guest’s laundry and valet. Greets the hotel guest in a friendly and courteous manner.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with guests and other employees in a courteous, empathetic, and discreet manner.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with hotel guests and other employees
• Inspects guest's room to ensure furnishings are in order and supplies are adequate.
• Explains features of room such as operation of radio, television, and night-lock, and how to place telephone calls.
• Picks up articles for laundry and valet service.
• Delivers packages, suitcases, and trunks, and sets up sample rooms.
• Operates elevator.
• Supports and maintains company courtesy guidelines.
• Promotes outstanding guest relations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
