Job summary

Los Angeles Ads is seeking a devoted Security Officer for Koreatown, CA. Must have a valid CA Guard Card, clear criminal history, and fluent English. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts are required. Full benefits are provided. Interviews by appointment only.

Qualifications

Security Officer

Location: Koreatown

Security Officer wanted.

Must possess a clear criminal history and valid CA Guard Card at minimum. Must be fluent in English, possess excellent communication skills and have a strong attention to detail. Must be trustworthy, personable, extremely responsible and self motivated. Evenings, weekends and holidays required. Full benefits. Interviews by appointment only.

Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to protect against theft and maintain security of premises. Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances. Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates. Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. Contact law enforcement, fire personnel or other appropriate emergency responders as needed. Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and evict, detain and/or apprehend violators from premises using force if necessary. Inspect and adjust security systems and equipment to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering. Attend mandatory and consistent training events.

Military or Law Enforcement experience preferred.
