MaineHealth Stephens Hospital is seeking motivated and service-oriented individuals to join our Security Services team as Per Diem Security Officers. This is an as-needed position with no guaranteed hours or set shift schedule. Candidates must have open availability and be willing to work varied shifts based on departmental needs.
As a Security Officer, you will play an important role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, staff, and the community. We are looking for individuals who are committed to helping others, can remain calm under pressure, and consistently demonstrate a friendly and approachable attitude.
Summary: This position is per diem with variable hours. The Security Officer role is responsible for monitoring the healthcare environment to help prevent security incidents from occurring and deescalating incidents as they emerge. May provide protective services and, with sufficient training, patient restraints as deemed necessary by medical staff.

The base range is an estimate and does not reflect the full value of our total compensation package.
The pay range for this position is $20.27 to $24.36 per hour.
Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
