Job summary

Genting New York LLC seeks a Security Officer at Resorts World New York City to ensure the safety of employees, guests, assets and facilities. You will patrol, monitor, respond to incidents, and maintain clear communications with the security team.

The role requires 18+ and the ability to obtain the Security Guard Act license, fluency in English, and a commitment to professional appearance and customer service.

Job Responsibilities

The Security Officer is responsible for the safety and security of employees, customers, assets and facilities. License Level: This is a gaming level position.

Essential Duties/Core Competencies

• Control and diffuses potential problems and assists employees and guests in emergencies.
• Ensure proper Security is provided for all transfers of monies within the facility.
• Stand, sit, and walk post as assigned.
• Respond to back-up calls immediately.
• Prepare reports of significant activities.
• Maintain radio contact with base at all times during assigned shift.
• Attend periodic meetings and training sessions.
• Provide outstanding customer and employee service at all times.
• Present a neat and clean appearance at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work/Educational Experience

Must be at least 18 years old and have the ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the applicable statute, rules and regulations. Must able to obtain license under the Security Guard Act (“SGA” or Article 7-A of the General Business Law).
