## Security OfficerApply: Main Campus: Full time: Posted 2 Days Ago: JR101927The Security Officer is under general supervision; performs investigations of crimes and accidents, protects property, facilities and citizens through law enforcement techniques; provides escort service; performs related and occasionally other duties as assigned.**Essential Functions (Principal Duties and Job Responsibilities):** • Campus patrol: Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the campus environment by actively monitoring designated areas. This includes conducting regular foot and vehicle patrols, identifying and addressing potential security risks• Incident Response: Responds to incidents, including medical emergencies and criminal disturbances, in a timely and efficient manner. This involves assessing the situation, providing immediate support, coordinating with other agencies or units if necessary, and ensuring the safety of all involved• Report Generation: Generates detailed and accurate reports related to daily activities, incidents, and operations• Customer Service and Public Interaction: Provides exceptional customer service and maintains positive public relations with students, staff, and visitors. The individual is responsible for addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience for all individuals interacting with the department• Personal Accountability: Maintains issued gear including, but not limited to, uniforms, equipment and vehicles being utilized.
