Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking Security personnel to help safeguard guests and assets at our Mississippi casino property. You will support bank escorts, perform chip fills on the floor, and escort guests as needed.

You will also assist the Security Supervisor, monitor for minor presence on the floor, and provide information about locations and events. A high school diploma and relevant experience are required or preferred along with a valid Mississippi Gaming Commission permit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One to three months related experience and/or training preferred.
• Valid Mississippi Gaming Commission Work Permit required; knowledge of Mississippi Gaming Regulations; internal Controls; local, State and Federal Statutes; Mississippi Tax Commission Alcohol Beverage Control policies and procedures, OSHA, MSDS, ADA, Life Safety Code 101 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides Security coverage necessary to ensure that adequate protection is provided for the safety and assets of all internal and external guests on property, as well as for the Company.
• Provides security for bank escorts and other movement of money on the casino floor; Performs chip fills to table games; provides escorts to guests as requested.
• Assists the Security Supervisor in maintaining order on the casino floor by providing backup when needed in confrontations; ensures that minors are not on the casino floor by conducting identification checks; covers posts and assignments when needed.
• Provides information to guests concerning locations and special events.
