Job summary

Marksman Security is seeking a Gate Officer for the Possum Kingdom site on the 1st shift. You will handle front desk security, assist visitors with directions, and maintain logs and access control to protect people and property.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, an active Level 2 Security License, and a minimum of 2 years as Building Officer or equivalent service in the military or police. You must pass a background check and a drug screen, and be able to meet physical demands.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Active Level 2 Security License.
• 2+ years of verifiable Building Officer or equivalent military/police experience.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to meet physical requirements (lifting 50+ lbs, patrols, stairs).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service on duty, directing visitors and giving information.
• Maintain accurate front desk logs for people and property including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required.
• Monitor security cameras and conduct patrols to prevent theft and maintain safety.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies, recording data for management.
• Other duties as assigned.

FT GATE OFFICER NEEDED - 1ST SHIFT

Responsibilities

of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

of Security Officers:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Must have an active Level 2 Security License
• A minimum of 2 years of verifiable solid Building Officer experience / Military veteran / police officer experience
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather
• Sharp, professional presence and demeanor

Preferred Qualifications

of Security Officers:

• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
• Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required
