Job summary

Securitas is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time role in Meridian, ID. The position offers an hourly wage of $17.36–$20.00 and multiple shifts: 7pm–5am Tue–Fri or 7am–3pm Mon–Fri.

You'll provide customer service, conduct security checks, and respond to incidents while working with a regional support team. Responsibilities include de-escalation, daily written reports, and collaboration with client staff to meet site goals.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm, professional manner.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Background screening including drug test and background check will be completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform patrols inside and outside the client’s premises in various conditions.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity; provide written reports.

• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record required.
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
