Job summary

Bally's Corporation is hiring a Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and assets at our casino facility in Iowa. You will assist in transporting money and chips, monitor access to restricted areas, and respond to incidents with reporting duties.

A flexible schedule, including late nights, weekends, and holidays, is required. Required: high school diploma or GED, ability to obtain an Iowa Class C license, and strong teamwork with excellent customer

Qualifications

• Must obtain Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission Class C license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Casino experience is preferred.

The Security Officermaintains a safe and secure environment for all guests, employees, and company assets.

Responsibilities

• Assist in transporting money and chips.
• Control access to restricted areas.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to customer and employee incidents and accidents. Write reports.
• Monitor customer and employee passage in and out of casino.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.

Competencies

• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission Class C license.
• Must be at least 18 Years of age.
• Casino experience is preferred.
• Must possess excellent teamwork, interpersonal, customer service, and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work Weekends and Holidays
• Able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.

Work Environment

A casino environment exposed to bright flashing lights, noise, smoke and varied temperatures. Use of elevator and stairs. May include a boat and/or floating barge. A kitchen environment with a variety of workstations and storage areas, exposed to varied temperatures, smoke, steam, noise, and wet areas. May also work in a banquet/showroom environment with varied noise levels and temperatures, wet areas, and exposure to low-level lights. May occasionally be in an outdoor environment, exposed to varied weather conditions.

Target Salary Range

• $14.50
