Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to patrol assigned areas and monitor safety protocols across our Kenner, LA properties. You will respond to emergencies, control access points, conduct patrols, and maintain detailed incident logs to ensure a secure environment for guests and team members.

The ideal candidate has strong observation and communication skills, experience with surveillance systems, the ability to work varied shifts, and a calm, professional demeanor

Job Description

• Patrol designated areas on foot or using company-provided vehicles to monitor for suspicious activities, safety hazards, or security breaches
• Respond promptly and professionally to emergency situations following established procedures and protocols

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21years of age
• Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and perform tasks requiring lifting, reaching, kneeling, and bending
• Strong observation and surveillance skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proven decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
• Proficiency in completing detailed security reports and documentation
• Experience with security monitoring systems and emergency response protocols
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to obtain and maintain required security certifications
• Basic computer skills for report writing and communication
• Previous security experience in a corporate environment preferred
• Must be available to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
