Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors at a utility location following site-specific access control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization credentials, manage visitor entry processes, and maintain access-related documentation.
• Respond to access concerns, incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, buildings, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized entry and report unusual conditions.
• Communicate with site personnel and leadership regarding access-related activities and policy concerns.

Pay Rate: $14.18 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors at a utility location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization credentials, manage visitor entry processes, and maintain accurate access-related documentation.
• Respond to access concerns, incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, buildings, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized entry and report unusual conditions.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding access-related activities, incidents, and policy concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
