Job summary

Marksman Security is seeking a part-time Security Officer for weekends at our Elsmere, KY location. The role includes patrolling the warehouse, monitoring CCTV and alarms, and controlling access for guests and staff.

Candidates should have a valid driver’s license, professional demeanor, basic computer skills, and at least one year of security experience. Weekend shifts are Saturday and Sunday, 2pm–10pm, with a $20.00 per hour wage and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Professional demeanor and appearance expected.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Minimum of one year of security experience.
• Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet all guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Manage guest/visitor access and eject violators when needed.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol perimeter to identify safety and security risks.
• Warn violators of infractions (loitering, prohibited items).
• Perform other duties as determined by operations.

This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time

• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
• Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and or in possession of prohibited items
