The Culver Academies in Culver, Indiana, is seeking a Security Officer to safeguard students, staff, and campus property. The role includes patrols by foot, bike, or vehicle, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a safe campus environment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED, must be 21+, valid Indiana driver’s license with a clean record, and willingness to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends. Training will be provided; EMT not required initially.

• The Security Officer will ensure the safety and security of persons and CEF property. They will respond to emergency and non-emergency situations or conditions and provide assistance or take actions appropriate to the situation within the legal limits of Campus Safety/Security authority.
• This position requires security surveillance of Culver Academies, including campus patrol by foot, bicycle, or vehicle, checking and securing buildings, investigating reports of suspicious activities, and striving towards a safe, crime-free campus environment.

Our location in Culver, Indiana is on the shore of Lake Maxinkuckee, Culver Academies encompasses 1,800 acres of green hills and woodlands, and a historic collegiate-like campus with beautiful Gothic buildings and architecture.

WORK HOURS, a rolling schedule, three days on, two days off, two days on, three days off, two days on, two days off.

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Night Shift: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
