Job summary

Auburn Community Hospital is seeking a security officer to patrol the hospital building and grounds, ensuring the safety of patients, visitors and staff from fire, theft, vandalism, illegal entry and policy violations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, is prepared to obtain NYS security certification within 90 days of employment, and possesses NYS driver's license. Prior security experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain NYS certification within 90 days of employment.
• One (1) year security experience and NYS Certification upon hire preferred.
• NYS driver's License required.
