This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that will help support the security and safety needs of a dynamic, innovative environment while representing Mass General with professionalism, vigilance, and exceptional customer service. Security Officers serve as an essential part of the hospital community, helping protect people and property while responding to a wide range of safety and security needs.
The Security Officer provides a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, employees, and hospital property by enforcing established security policies and procedures, conducting patrols of assigned areas, identifying potential safety hazards, and responding to unusual or emergency situations in a timely and professional manner.
The ideal candidate demonstrates sound judgment, strong communication skills, professionalism, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This position requires the ability to remain calm and effective in challenging situations while maintaining confidentiality and treating all individuals with dignity and respect.

Bachelor's Degree Criminal Justice preferred
