Job summary

Admiral Security Services seeks a full-time security officer to join our downtown Baltimore team. You will perform access control, patrols and incident reporting to meet contract requirements while maintaining safety and customer service standards.

Responsibilities include enforcing policies, observing hazards, and interacting with clients, visitors and public safety officials. The position requires working various shifts in an exterior/interior environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must possess exceptional customer service skills.
• Must be able to multitask.
• Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office products.
• Must be able to operate and maintain site-specific security programs.
• Must have at least one year of verifiable work experience.
• One year of military, concierge or an AA/BA in a related field will be considered.
• Must have or be able to obtain Maryland Security Guard card.

Responsibilities

Available Shift:Full Time - 40 hrs./weekSplit position between two downtown locations in close proximity Thursday - Friday3:00 pm - 11:00 pmSaturday ( Exterior)2:00 pm - 10:00 pmSunday - Monday 3:00 pm - 11:00 pmPay rate: $19.81Location: Downtown BaltimoreOn bus route

The selected candidate will perform various security duties as outlined by contract requirements and site-specific post orders. These duties may include:

This position may require work inside and outside in varying temperatures. This position requires standing for prolonged periods of time, walking, bending and some lifting. A portion of this position may require sitting in front of a computer for prolonged periods of time.
