Job summary

Weiser Security Services, Inc. in Atlanta, GA seeks a security officer responsible for protection of assets, personnel, customers and visitors at assigned sites.

Under supervision of Account Manager or Branch Manager, you will patrol, monitor access, report incidents, and cooperate with authorities as needed. Weekend shifts Saturday and Sunday, 1 PM to 9 PM, with hourly pay of $18.00. Long hours standing and extended hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Protect client interests and ensure safety of employees and visitors
• Observe and report signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
• Prepare daily reports and submit to contacts
• Complete patrols as required by post orders
• Monitor access to property and control entry per post orders
• Notify authorities in emergencies as outlined in post orders
• Report violations of policy and laws per Employee Handbook

Job description

This position is under the direct supervision of the Account Manager or Branch Manager and is responsible for protection, safeguarding, and security of assets, personnel, customers and visitors to assigned sites.

Job Duties:

• Protect the interests of the client within the limits of the facility and to protect the lives and property of employees and visitors.
• Observe and report signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
• Prepare reports on a daily basis as trained and turn them into the proper contacts.
• Complete patrols as required by post orders
• Monitor aPnd control access to property as required by post orders.
• Notify proper authorities in all cases of emergencies as outlined in the post orders.
• Report all violations of company policy and local and federal laws as stated in the Employee Handbook.

• Long hours standing up
• Willingness to work extended hours
• There may be additional responsibilities as specifically required by the client and the assigned post.

HOURS: 1PM TO 9PM

SALARY: 18.00
