ThedaCare is seeking a Security Officer to maintain safety of people and property on ThedaCare campuses, patrolling on foot or by vehicle, enforcing policies, and responding to emergencies. The role collaborates with facilities, patient care, and safety teams to uphold security standards and post-incident procedures.
Responsibilities include de-escalation, coordination with incident command during disasters, and supporting hazardous decontamination and safety planning for staff and patients.

The Security Officer maintains security and safety of people and property on ThedaCare campuses by patrolling areas on foot or by vehicle, and enforcing ThedaCare and government rules and regulations. Responds to emergencies and emergency codes. Serves as a liaison for the safety department and facilities operations after hours to troubleshoot calls for facilities management. Coordinates after-hours calls with the boiler operator on duty at ThedaCare campuses, where applicable. Works with patient care to create safety plans for team members and patients.
