DK Security, Inc. in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a Uniform Security Officer responsible for the security and safety of client properties and personnel. You will greet visitors, verify access, and escort them as needed while delivering superior customer service.

You will perform hourly patrols, deter unauthorized activity, and report hazards. This full-time role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to respond to emergencies with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• No felony convictions and must pass a criminal background check.
• Must pass a drug test at hire and randomly thereafter.
• Must present a friendly, professional image.
• Willing to become CPR/First Aid/AED certified.

Responsibilities

• Front Desk: check-in visitors and escort through the building with excellent customer service.
• Provide visual deterrence against unauthorized activity.
• Conduct hourly interior/exterior patrols to ensure doors and windows are secure.
• Prevent entry to restricted areas.
• Identify suspicious persons, packages, or activities.
• May provide first aid in emergencies.
• Follow site post guidelines and report hazards or need for repairs.
• Document daily activities and incident reports.
• Other duties as assigned.

SCOPE: As a Uniform Security Officer at DK Security, you will be responsible for the security and safety of our client's property and personnel. You will know all site-specific policies and procedures, and implement emergency response activities as appropriate, while providing superior customer service.

SCHEDULE:

• 1stshift
• Mondays / Tuesday 8:30AM-5PM
• Every other Wednesdays 8:30AM-5PM

COMPENSATION:

• Rate of Pay: $17.00/hour

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Will serve as a Front Desk agent, ensuring all visitors to the building are properly checked in and escorted through the building while providing outstanding customer service.
• Will provide a visual deterrence against any criminal or otherwise unauthorized activity.
• Conduct hourly foot patrol of interior and exterior to check entrances, doors, and windows are locked and secured.
• Ensure unauthorized persons do not enter restricted areas.
• Look for suspicious persons, packages and activities.
• May provide first aid or other medical treatment in emergency situations.
• Must follow site specific post guidelines.
• Will report potentially hazardous conditions and items in need of repair, when applicable.
• Document daily activities and incident reports.
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must have either a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• May NOT have any felony convictions and must be able to pass a criminal background check in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must be able to successfully pass a drug test at the time of hire and randomly thereafter.
• Must present a friendly, positive, and professional image.
• Must be willing to become CPR/1 st Aide/AED Certified.
• Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to sit, stand or walk for the duration of the shift, including walking long distances, and possibly up and down stairs
• Must be readily able to respond to emergency situations
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Must have a valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
• Less than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
• Less than 2 at-fault accidents in the last 3 years
• No other major violations in the last 3 years.
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
