Pay rate is $19.00 per hour. The position includes fixed anchor shifts with a six-month commitment and access to the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program, plus customer-service responsibilities at a retail warehouse location.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures at a retail warehouse location.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner, escalating as needed per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, and parking areas.
• Monitor access points and report policy violations, hazards, or maintenance concerns to site contacts.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and shift handoffs per Allied Universal requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Customer Service Patrol in Riverhead, NY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat02:15 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:15 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail warehouse location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within assigned areas, and report policy violations, hazards, or maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
