Job summary

Institution for Savings is seeking a Security Network Operations Engineer to secure and operate the Bank's multi-branch network and information systems. The role emphasizes Cisco Meraki cloud management and day-to-day security operations across Splunk, Darktrace, Palo Alto, Netwrix, Ivanti, and Mimecast.

Responsibilities include deploying and maintaining LAN/WAN infrastructure, managing VPNs and QoS, monitoring performance, and ensuring regulatory compliance through evidence gathering and change

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 3–5+ years in network engineering or security operations, multi-site preferred.
• Hands-on Cisco Meraki deployment and cloud management across sites.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and wireless.
• Experience with next-gen firewalls (Palo Alto and/or Meraki MX) and threat prevention.
• Familiar with SIEM, network/endpoint detection, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN and wireless across sites using Cisco Meraki.
• Manage inter-site connectivity, VPNs, VLANs, routing, QoS, and traffic shaping.
• Monitor performance, review Meraki reports, investigate bandwidth spikes, resolve issues.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, standards, and change records.
• Plan branch network upgrades with minimal disruption to operations.
• Triage, investigate, contain, remediate security events; perform root cause analysis.
