Job summary

Intrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLC is seeking a Security Monitor 2 to oversee surveillance systems, patrol premises, and enforce access controls in a high-security environment. The role requires vigilance, incident documentation, and rapid response to threats and emergencies.

The candidate should have at least a high school diploma and 1+ year of security monitoring experience, with DCJS training for VA/MD within 90 days of duty. A Top Secret SCI CI Polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year security monitoring experience in a high-security environment.
• DCJS training is required for Virginia and Maryland within 90 days of entering on duty.
• Top Secret SCI CI Polygraph clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor to detect unauthorized access, suspicious activity, or security breaches.
• Conduct regular perimeter checks and patrols to ensure the integrity of the base’s security infrastructure.
• Track and document all incidents, observations, and activities during assigned shifts.
• Enforce access control procedures to ensure that only authorized personnel enter secure areas.
• Respond quickly to alarms, disturbances, and suspicious behavior to assess and mitigate potential threats.
• Assist in emergency situations such as evacuations, fires, medical emergencies, and active threats.
• Inspect fences, gates, locks, and barriers to ensure that all security measures are intact.
