Job summary

ByteDance seeks a security engineering campus intern to work on building scalable security services and technologies. You will engage in short-term, impactful projects and gain real-world experience in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are pursuing CS/CE/Security/AI with programming fluency in C++, Java or Python and a strong interest in ML systems. The role offers hourly compensation and health benefits on day one where available.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in CS, CE, security, AI or related STEM field.
• Proficient in C++/Java/Python with solid coding ability.
• Familiar with data mining algorithms including clustering, anomaly detection and graph learning.
• Experience with Hive, SQL, Spark or Flink for big data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Improve the upper bound of large models for security tasks.
• Train vertical large models and apply them to security tasks such as code analysis and threat research.
• Explore and innovate on model stacks (data synthesis, post-training, acceleration, distillation).
