re:Cycle Reverse Logistics LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Security Manager to oversee physical security for data center decommissioning operations within the Amazon corporate family. You will lead security programs, manage budgets, and supervise security personnel in a high-volume industrial setting.

You will collaborate with cross-site teams, implement policies, and drive improvements in security readiness, drills, and asset protection while communicating outcomes to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of law enforcement, or 5+ years of security-related professional experience.
• 3+ years identifying security issues and risks, and developing mitigation plans.
• Experience overseeing security operations and working with security vendors/contractors.
• 3+ years of experience with video surveillance equipment.

The re:Cycle Reverse Logistics team is looking for a detail-oriented, experienced and professional Security Manager. You will have experience managing security of large critical infrastructure installations, ideally in high security environments. You will have professional experience managing people with varying skill sets, devising strategies, creating and managing budgets, sponsoring projects, and driving improvements of our security readiness.

You will lead and uphold the high standards of the physical security protocols for an operational team that performs decommissioning services of Data Center Hardware in a high-volume industrial environment. The team receives parts, performs sanitization procedures, maintains inventory, and performs visual inspections as needed following all data security and environmental compliance procedures.

Key job responsibilities

Your responsibilities include maintaining an extensive knowledge of complex industry trends, current security issues and security technology, and the risks and threats that could impact the operation. With also performing annual risk analysis to provide leadership and best practices on security policy and practices. In addition to supporting the operations team with security related advice, and guidance as well as contract security staff in achieving current and long-range strategic program objectives.

You will routinely collaborate with your peers in other sites and regions to ensure the operations under your supervision provide a safe and secure environment and safeguard the protection of the assets within the operation. Your team will also educate stakeholders on the importance of emergency readiness, encourage a culture of security awareness, conduct regular drills and update all plans annually. You will be required to provide periodic performance, program and strategic roadmap briefings to senior leaders.

The ideal candidate will be a confident, decisive, influential and innovative leader who can communicate a compelling and comprehensive set of outcomes to be achieved. You must have the presence and influence to define and enforce high standards for programs you implement and monitor at all levels. You must be comfortable with ambiguity, and can define structure, processes and standards where none yet exist.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of law enforcement, or 5+ years of security-related professional experience


• 3+ years of work in identifying security issues and risks, and developing mitigation plans experience


• Experience overseeing security operations and working with security vendors/contractors


• 3+ years of experience of video surveillance equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of work in identifying security issues and risks, and developing mitigation plans experience


• 5+ years of security management experience


• Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO, TAPA and R2v3


• CPP, PSP, PMP certifications and Lenel Certifications

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
