Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC seeks a Security and Loss Prevention Specialist in WA. This hourly role leads efforts to protect people, products, and data across a designated building.

You report to the Cluster Manager and support field security, cross functional teams, and operations. You will conduct confidential investigations, identify vulnerabilities, and develop mitigation actions while ensuring legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years with Amazon (Blue Badge/FTE) or 1+ year in security, investigations, or related fields.
• 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office (Excel) in a professional capacity.
• Experience in incident mitigation, de-escalation, and business continuity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct confidential investigations and prepare written reports of theft, fraud, and incidents.
• Identify vulnerabilities and define mitigating actions while ensuring compliance.
• Act as liaison and SME for site leadership on issues, strategies and performance.
• Develop alarm reduction strategies and diagnose system issues with partners.
• Travel up to 25% domestically as needed.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and work in variable environments and hours.
