Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess a Tennessee unarmed security license, and be able to pass Dallas' Law training, CPR/AED, and first aid courses, which will be provided if needed.

Responsibilities
  • Promote safety for guests, staff, and property at all times.
  • Conduct security patrols across various hotel areas, including public spaces, guest floors, parking lots, and exteriors.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and security requests.
  • Monitor CCTV, alarm systems, and security of receiving areas.
  • Complete written reports of activities each shift, and communicate emergencies as per procedures.
  • Handle administrative tasks for Loss Prevention, including reports, files, work orders, and supplies.
  • Maintain professional standards in attitude, appearance, and conduct.
  • Monitor entries, inspect parcels, and control access points.
  • Investigate discrepancies in key control and maintain security equipment.
  • Manage the Lost and Found program and communicate regularly with the Loss Prevention Director.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Qualifications
  • One year of loss prevention experience preferred, especially in upscale hospitality.
  • Ability to obtain CPR and first aid certification.
  • Strong communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and email.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, professional appearance.
  • Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
