Immediate Opening for a Full-Time and Part-Time Loss Prevention Officer

Location:

Council Bluffs Area

Job Description:

1. Identify and apprehend shoplifters through floor patrol and the use of Closed Circuit TV.
2. Report writing.
3. Interact with local law enforcement agencies as needed.
4. Provide courtroom testimony as required.

Requirements:

• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Full-time: 30-40 hours/week; Part-time: 15-29 hours/week.
• Pre-employment criminal background and drug screening.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a time.
• Reliable transportation.
• Clear and accurate communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to write legible, accurate, and understandable reports.
• Assertive yet controlled in dealing with confrontation.
• Trustworthy with the ability to work independently.
• Punctuality and attendance are essential; tardiness and absenteeism are not tolerated.
• Previous loss prevention experience is a plus but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; studies in Criminal Justice or related fields are advantageous.

This is an immediate opening with paid training provided.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay: $21.00 per hour
