Job summary

LineVision is seeking a Security Leader to drive a comprehensive security program for a grid intelligence platform serving major US utilities. You will own SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 programs, lead risk assessments, and coordinate with IT, Platform, Hardware, and Customer Success to make security a strategic differentiator.

The role reports to the VP of Security, IT, and Quality and requires 6+ years in information security with leadership experience.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in information security with leadership experience.
• Direct ownership of SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 audits.
• Experience conducting risk assessments with NIST CSF or equivalent.
• Hands-on in penetration testing, vulnerability management, and SIEM tooling.
• Experience with AWS cloud security and enterprise customer questionnaires.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual audit cycle for SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 using Vanta.
• Lead annual risk assessments and quarterly governance reviews.
• Oversee vulnerability management, SIEM coverage, and incident response.
• Respond to customer security questionnaires and contract reviews.
• Define security standards for AI governance and product features.
• Coach and develop the security team and manage on-call rotations.
